Well Hello Family, Friends, and Randoms!

Well hello family, friends and randoms.

This week was jammed packed with things like Zone Conference, intercambios (splits), eye infection, stake conference and San Martin. Well, first things first...

The Zone Conference

This week we had a zone conference with Pres. and 4 other zones. We talked a lot about the same things we talked about in the leader's meeting but it was so fun. I got to see all my friends and we ended up taking a pic of all our hermanas. The best part about the zone conference is that Hna. Christensen makes us food and we all get to eat together. It was weird, usually in the zone conferences I talk a little bit and usually I'm shy or scared but this zone conference my companion and I were just both talking a lot and answering questions. Being a sister training leader has really helped me step up and not be scared to just work with all my heart. Hna Dapper is going to be finishing her mission soon in may so she bore her testimony. It was the cutest thing and I was just about bawling through the whole thing. Its so weird, all my mission friends and going home and soon I'm going to be a loner. By the end of the meeting people kept asking me if I had something in my eye. Well needless to say thats how I realized I had the eye infection.

The Eye Infection

Nothing serious, just my eye was all red. We went to the hospital and they gave me some good meds and I was back to new. The only thing was that my eye couldn't be in the sun so I had to wear sunglasses this week. No, I am no trying to be a tool missionary, just wearing the glasses to protect my eyes. Haha, I'm all good and back to normal.

Intercambios (splits)

This week we had intercambios with the hnas from our ward. Hnas. Meek and Guadarramma. I was with Hna Meek. It was soo fun to be with another american for the day. Hna meek is sooo loving Nx she is so awesome. I love her! She has 7 months in the mission and she is training Hna Guadaramma. We had a great day. We taught some good lessons and the next morning we went running. It felt soo good to run. Haha, I can never run because my comp Hna. Cherrez told me she can't run and doesn't run. Haha, she's great, I love her also. The intercambios always help me teach and also learn. PS.. this week I have intercambios in Fuertes. That's right, I'm going back to my old area tommorrow. I'm so happy, you have no idea.

Stake Conference

Elder Johnson, a member from the 70's came and was able to talk to the whole stake. He spoke and it was awesome. Also Pres. Christesen, his wife, and the temple president spoke. It was sooo good but they sure talked a lot about marriage. I'm like so far away from thinking about things like that. But one of our investigators is dating a member and she really loved the conference so me and Hna Cherrez were as happy as clams.

San Martin

Today we went to San Martin. It was super fun. There is a castle and we went and walked around. I felt like i was in Europe not in Mexico. It was relaxing until this duck came and attacked us. Literally it ate my companion's shoe. Haha, after in San martin they are like famous for the cheep american clothes. It was pretty much the worlds largest garage sale it gave me a head ache but I did find an h&m dress for 4 dollars so we will see how it goes.

Well fam I'm getting a little bummed because this is the last week in the change. Next week we will know who is staying and who is going. Hna Cherrez has 7 months as an STL so its pretty sure that she will not be a sister training leader anymore. They are going to separate us. We were both pretty bummed out about it but we won't really know anything until this Saturday

Love you, stay sweet.

This week.. and stuff..

We had intercambios this week in Roma and I got to spend the day with the cutest Hermana. Hermana Garcia! She is great! We spent the day in my area and we did work, the two of us. She is from Tijuana and is soo cool... She has been having a hard time because she is training and she just started to feel very frustrated. That night we had a good long talk and she started to cry a bit... I love being able to help Hermanas in the mission! I feel sometimes like I get to be all social like I was before. haha I don't know, I'm such a weirdo! Anyway the day was good and the next morning we caught the bus back to Roma and met back up with Hna Cherrez, my companion and Hna Swan, Hna Garcia's companion. We had to be at a district meeting at 11 and by the time we were done seeing the other Hnas study it was 10 and we hadn't eaten. We ran into a store and of corse picked the healthiest breakfast options we could, Doritos and yogurt, haha. We always buy this when we are on the road. We luckily got to the district meeting intime but our District Leader had made everyone breakfast so it was a total loss.

This week we kind of had a disaster happen with the sink. After a long day of teaching me and my companion got back to the house to plan and made some nightly calls and then went to get ready for bed. All of a sudden i hear Hna Cherrez scream "auxillio" haha she needed help. I rushed to the bathroom and she had broken the sink pipe. There was water rushing everywhere. We called the assistants and they came to the house to help us out only they took like 30 min so we took shifts putting our finger on the pipe hole. When the assistants got to our home they just put a glove and a colored pencil in the hole pipe. It has stayed and it is still holding strong 5 days now haha.

Today we went to libres for a zone activity. it was fun we watched Forever strong but it almost killd me because there is a part and they are running in Salt Lake and literally my heart broke. I miss Salt Lake, I miss clean streets, but at the same time I love dirty dogs and garbage in the streets of Mexico, hah. The activity was fun. We ate Chinese food and hung out as a zone. It was weird to be one on the missionaries with the most time here in the zone now. I still feel newish but i have almost a year here now. Weird stuff right?

Love you. See you in 6 months...

Tears of Pure Joy

Well this week was a good one like all the other weeks have been.

I took a walk down memory lane and I had intercambios (i have no idea what that is called in english) with the hermanas from Libres 2. They are Hna Gonzalez (my daughter) and Hna Cupul. We had to go all the way out to Libres again which was another 3 hours in bus but it was so worth it because I got to spend the day in Libres (A baby farm town) with my daughter for the whole day. I felt like it was back to old times, it was so fun. Hna Gonzalez has truly grown as a missionary. I was so happy to see how she has progressed and is doing so well. We had a good day together and we taught some interesting characters. We taught this jw who was trying to tell us that the pre-earth life didn't happen. We taught using power love and the scriptures and by the end of the lesson he had a baptism date. We spend the night giggling and remembering old memories. It was truly a great day

The next day was Hna Cherrezs birthday. We didn't have time to go back to Puebla before the district meeting so we stayed in libres and went to their district meeting. It was a great meeting, and after we had a surprize b-day party for Hna Cherrez. The tradition here is to always take a bite of the cake and then you get your face smashed into the cake.. haha before we did, hna cherrez just told me.. not my eyelashes of eyebrows i have makeup on haha she's too cute. We sang we laughed and then we headed back to the bus. It kind of stinks being in the bus but Hna cherrez and I just talk the whole time.

We had a leaders meeting in President's house for 9 hours it was the best thing ever.... FOR REALZ.. we got to his house and we got to eat breakfast and then we took a picture all the zone leaders and sister training leaders it was a all good... then after we talked about the mission in a whole, ,baptism, how we can help the mission. and then we planned the zone conference. then we talked about anger for a while and how we should never have anger.. how we cant feel the spirit when we are angry we talked about a lot of stuff and took mini self evaluation i like it and then we also ate lunch and talked and also had desert for the lunch we had a bbq i felt so american i loved it.

You are never going to guess who walked into the chapel, HNA GABBY GOMAR! I literally started crying. Ha, yep tears dripped down my face tears of pure joy. She is my favorite person here in the whole world she has a calling in the stake so she came and talked to our ward. I was so happy to see her and she was also happy to see me. In that moment it kind of hit me how much I miss Fuertes and how it will be then when i finish my mission. There will be a lot of people that i will never see again... sad. Good thing i still have lots more time.

MY favorite family in the ward is the Esteves family. They are so cute, they are my grandparents. They came with us to a lesson with an investigator named Francisco. We went to the lesson and all was going good then the hno Esteves wanted to share his testimony and at the end he just started going off saying before i knew about the gospel i smoked marijuana and was drunk everyday and me and my wife were going to split up and i was happy about it to get some more meat. But then the missionaries came and they shared the gospel with us. we now have 48 years together. haha i was happy to hear his testimony it was also a little funny.

Well i love you all.

Keep me updated on your lives!

A Long but Good Week

Well this week was long but good. I'm exhausted and haven't slept in a while...
This week we had inter cambios with the hermanas from Loreto, Hna Orgill and Hna Samano. I stayed in Loreto for the day and we worked hard. I love their area. It is so clean and they have awesome investigators. We taught a man who drinks coffee like 45 times a week. We taught him the WOW and he said he would strop drinking but then started laughing. I was like okay, want to be baptized or no? He said yes and he is going to give up the black stuff and enter into the waters of baptism.
We also had intercambios in Libres, a pueblito 3 hours from our area in bus. I honestly wanted to puke but it went well. We got there and Hna Perez and I turned around and went right back to our area to work. Ha we worked well in our area and we had a good time. Hna Perez is probably the mostly loving person on the face of the planet.
Today we played soccer as a district  I taught every one how to make arepas and then we came to down town puebla to eat italian food because Hna Cherrez is going to turn 21 this week. Gosh I love this girl.
In other news, I prayed a lot this week and read my patriarchal blessing. I started crying and I KNEW MY answer! I'm coming home in September. I think I've know for a while now but I'm happy and I love my mission. I'll write more next week.. sorry no time.
