Well hello everyone soooo I had transfers EVERYTHING is really new.

My new companions name is Hna Cherrez she is from Ecuador. She is litterally the cutest thing I have ever seen. She loves india. she keeps telling me how she wants to go the "The India" haha. She has 14 months in the mission and we are the Sister Training Leaders for the stake of Fuertes. Yep thats right... im a new STL.. I feel weird. ha but we are in charge of doing exchanges with 7 companionships. It has been a lot of fun this week we are going to go to Libres 2 hours from our house to do exzchanges with Hna Gonzales( my hija) and her companion. I am really happy because Fuertes my last ward is in the area. sooo.. im going to get to spend a day in Fuertes. I had an interview with Pres C this week and he told me he was really happy that I was a sistertraining leader. I thought I would be all stressed but I feel happy. I like it because haha I have my own cell phone I dont have to share anymore ha. also I get to help a lot of hermanas.

The new area is called ALAMOS. its going good we are looking for a lot of new people its really fun because we both have time in the mission so when we teach I dont feel like im alone. We make a good team. The ward is smaller but I like it. I REALLY dont know how I feel yet because i only have a week there but sence we have exchanges next week im going to have to be in the area alone so I better learn it quick. The area is like pueblo its like a naborhood thing I like it so far.

We did how ever have a little problem. We forgot to pay the water bill this week so... they cut off our lights and when we dont have light we also dont have water... soo we had to go stay with the other sisters in our ward. Oh thats right I now share a ward with sistermissionaries its fun. its diffrent but I like it. We have been staying with them for 3 nights now but today we are going to have lights so we are headed back to our home. I like our home its cute.

on sunday night we went with these older couple to visit some investigators we found some intersting people and after they invited us over to there house for a family home evening. It was sooo cute the grandma had like the cutest night gown on. As we were all reading scriptures I felt like I was home with MA and PA BUCK. haha they are so cute but they always want to show our investigaors movies from the 80s haha

Transfers, Valentines, My Birthday... What a Week!

Okay well this week was like a.. wait, I don't even have words for this week, de verdad

Well sadly Hna Ipina went home on Tuesday. It was sad but it was time, she wasn't able to work and by the end of it all she was ready to go home. It was planned that 2 Hnas would come and stay with me in Fuertes, Hna Gonzales (an American) and Hna Corral (she's from Spain).

They ended up getting to Fuertes around 8 on Tuesday night. We brought all their bags upstairs and waited for the assistants because they were planning on coming to get the keys from their old house. As soon as they got to our apartment they start knocking hard on the door telling us to let them in. I was like whats going on... apparently there was a huge fight going on outside. We went outside to see it all go down. People were all fighting and taking off their shirts it was legit. At one point I saw a man pick up a bike and slap another guy with the bike. I was thinking I am deffs not in Utah. The assistants had to stay in our house for a while because it wasn't safe to leave because this fight was going down in our apartment patio thing. They left around 10:30 and then around 11 they called us telling us we shouldn't sleep in our home because it wasn't safe. We packed a small bag and went and stayed at a member's house that night. I felt like I was in a movie.

The next morning we woke up and went back to our home and got a call from the assistants telling us we had to change houses. Today! Yep, on my birthday. I was kind of bummed because we had plans with all my favorite people, but you know safety first. I did however get a lot of happy birthday calls and a lot of gifts. Hna Orgill, the assistants, the secretaries, Hna Gabby, the Elders from my ward, Carlos, Montse, tons. It was nice. Also Pres C and Hna C too. Haha, I was so happy. The secretaries ended up coming over and helped us move. It took us around 4 hours on my birthday, ha. Well it was good and 3 members did give us cake.

The next day we went and had a conference with Pres. He talked about the apostasy. It was interesting and I really learned a lot. At the conference I got to see all my friends and my daughter. She was sooo cute and she bought me a cute present and a cake. She is suck a qt pie. Also I got pumpkin bread from Hna C. The elders in my ward gave me a little coin purse with my name engraved on it. The best part is that my district leader gave me the Real Madrid jersey he owed me. This day was filled with gifts. We then had to go to the hospital for Hna Gonzales and Hna Corral. We spent the whole rest of the day there. It was a bummer but what's a girl to do.

Friday we had a ward activity for Valentines Day. We had a ward talent show. For the talent show we as the missionaries did a skit with the ward missionaries. We sang and danced to summer lovin' from the movie "Grease". it was funny and the whole ward loved it. A girl from the primary danced to "Single Ladies", I about died it was sooo cute.

Saturday we had to go to Hna. G and Hna C's old area because they had a baptism there. It was close to my first area Loma Florida and your never going to guess who I saw... The bishop and his family! It was sooo fun. I loved it. They kept saying "wow, we can actually understand you now"... ha, thanks I guess.

That night when we got home we got our changes. I will be leaving fuertes. I am bummed but what can I do? That means new area and a new companion. Wish me luck I'm going to know tomorrow.

I said goodbye to a lot of people. I have loved this ward. I really felt like I made a difference. I am going to miss this ward a lot. The people, the area, and down town Puebla will always have a part of my heart.

A Week of Miracles

This week was one of the most spiritually draining and also the most spiritually rewarding. I have seen so many miracles in just one week. We had some ups and also some downs like usual.

Hna Ipina will be going home tomorrow. We got a call last week from President C telling us. It makes me sad to see her go but I know that she will be able to still help so many people in her home town.

Miracle 1

Montse.
This week on Monday we had a lesson to go over the baptism questions and plan her baptism. Montse’s mom and sister both had no idea she was planning to be baptized. She invited them to the end of the lesson and announced with joy that she was going to be baptized, pure tears of joy filled their home. Montse Reyes was baptized Sunday February 8th at 4 pm. Montse wore the cutest little flower crown, the necklace I gave her, and a poufy dress for after her baptism. I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for letting me be a small part of little Montse’s path to eternal life. Montse has changed so much at the end of her baptism she was hugging everyone, then she hugged me and hugged and hugged. She told me she loved me through many tears. We were both bawling. I love her and I love how the gospel has changed her. Montse’s mother thanked me very many times for never giving up on her. In one year the entire family will be able to go to the temple and be sealed as an eternal family.

Miracle. 2

Charlie talked to his family and they said he was going to have to wait to be baptized until April. As he told us this my heart dropped but what could I do, It was over until April. My companion started testifying saying that we would be there to help him in April. I just kept thinking in my head. No. No. His baptism in Feb 7th, I know it. I felt something in my heard telling me well… Tell him that. I was direct and said, “Carlos your baptism in on Saturday. I have felt by the power of the Holy Ghost that this your baptisms date. Carlos, I know you have felt it also. Follow Gods will." We ended in prayer and as we walked out of the lesson (it was in the chapel) we saw that someone had stolen Charlie’s bike. He left the chapel sad and spiritually tired because he had a choice to make. I felt spiritually week. About 30 seconds later he walked back through the church gate and talked to us. Tears spilled from his eyes, he sobbed saying I know this church is true. I know it is, it’s just hard. I know trials are going to come. I was completely bawling and then asked him, "Are you going to be a faithful member of this church? Are you going to go to the temple? Are you going to teach your future children this? Are you going to live with God after this life?” He kept nodding and crying. We all were crying pretty hard. Two days later Carlos was baptized as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. As he was baptized tears filled my eyes. Sunday he was confirmed in sacrament meeting. He was glowing. He told us many times how happy he feels.

This past week was hard but it has made me so grateful for the gospel in my life.  I read an email from my father this week saying my brother has decided to officially not play college sports but to "sign" with the Lord and serve a mission. As I read those words tears filled my eyes. I couldn’t be happier. Luke I love you. The mission is going to be the best thing for you. I am happy to be a representative of our Savior Jesus Christ everyday.

This week someone really special turns 18 years old. That’s right. Binks. JU Ju! JU how I love you and wish that I were going to be with you on this special day but I know that you are going to have a great day. I love you with all my heart. I kneel in prayer for you daily. As the song goes… " In the morning I wake up, before I put on my makeup, I say a little prayer for you". Be strong. Next year we will have this day together. I love you more than you know. You are apart of who I am.

Love you all and until next week.
